                                                                                                               MUSIC CONCERT "SYMPOSIUM"

An exceptional musical performance dedicated to Wine and Love will be held on the 9th of March 2017 in Brussels, organized by the 'A Discovering Network asbl' in collaboration with the Brussels Lyceum of Greek Women. The proceeds will go to the non-profit Association
http://desmos.org/ which helps with various projects in the humanitarian crisis in Greece.

 "Symposium" is the work of the composer Dimitri Maramis who set to music poems and texts of Homer and Euripides till more recent poems of Cavafis and Ritsos. The work highlights the cultural and symbolic value of wine and love in Greek language development  through twenty five centuries.

The songs will be performed by the acclaimed performer Theo Voutsikakis and the talented Mela Gerofoti. The composer wil accompany on piano. On narration will be Chris Panagiotakopoulos. Chorus Association of Greeks in Brussels will be involved.

The performance will be followed by wine tasting offered by Angelaki winery and Santorwines and wine importers in Belgium Canette and Sani.
